Avoid Regret. Just Go.

  Hello, friends, fellow travelers, and those who like to just follow along.  I came to traveling a little later in life. That is a big regret. Although I am making up for lost time, there are so many places I want to visit, and many that I want to revisit. That takes time and money. Both of those commodities seem a bit short. My best advice is, don’t wait. Find a place, near or far and just go. There are many places, I imagine, that are a very attainable day trip for you. Go visit. I live only a 3 hour drive to Carlsbad Caverns. A national park unlike any other, my first visit there was only a few years ago. I was 59. Because of my modest teacher paycheck, I give up other things, especially when preparing for an international trip. It is well worth the sacrifice. Those “things” will eventually be replaced, but the memories will live. And if I forget, I only have to revisit my blog, my pictures to stir those memories back, along with a few smiles. “We all deserve a little wand...
